Bold shoulders have made their comeback! Last year at this time women were cutting out the padding in their blazers. Lady Gaga, Rihanna and many other celebs have put this 80's style back on the charts!


Although some take it a little more to the extreme then others, Rihanna mixes her punk rock glow with her sophisticated style, Lady Gaga takes her fashion statements to the extreme which seems to fit her persona.
 

My Confession to "Relationships"

Relationships are a funny thing. Each is different, you hold a new, and interesting relationship with every person, to say the least. There's always those relationships that you maintain that cool, and always those you lose it. The ones that you wish you had said something, but at the time you couldn't, and then the one where you might have just said to much. Both ways  you could potentially mess EVERYTHING up! {ugh} there is no win win with these things called "relationships"

The Fashionista, the Expertista, && the Artista

Our goal as one is to focus on relevant topics that we all can relate to in our state of lives. We all throw imput into each blog but we do specialize on certain subjects.

The Artista: Victoria is a well known artist who has just graduated Cal as an Art major. She is getting ready to continue her art extravaganza in southern California at Pasadena Art Center she focuses on comparing art and fashion. She is very well known for her screen prints, and her urban acrylic paintings. She contributes to our blog with a colorful and artistic point of view. Victoria plans for the future to start her own clothing line that incorporates art and fashion couture.


The Expertista: Michelle focuses on relationships, and is good at incorporating the truth in our daily lives. She to enjoys fashion and art, she is recognized for her excellent writing skills and realist point of view. To put it plainly she plays the role of the editor and head of brainstorming for our blogs ideas. Michelle looks to her future with endless possibilities in business, cosmetology, and in photography.







The Fashionista: Theresa Marie specializes and finds great interest in fashion and the up and coming. She also has passion from past era's and enjoys comparing today's trends with yesterdays. {Fashion is her Passion} Theresa plans to attend the Aveda Institute in Sf during the fall semester for her cosmetology license and FIDM for her degree in design.

Blazers Are the New Cardigans

Fashionista:

Last year at this time we were wearing mustard colored cardigans. Currently we have switched over to floral and hounds tooth Blazers. Now every Vintage store I walk into I immediatley see a rack of Blazers, verses a rack of caridigans which leads me to my point Cardigans are out and Blazers are now back in. Blazers originated from the 80's and moved on into the early 90's.

CESAR @ Berkeley: Tapas, Wine, Beer & Spirits!

Their original location at 1515 Shattuck Avenue opened in May, 1998 in the heart of what has affectionately become known as the "gourmet ghetto" in north Berkeley, right next door to Chez Panisse. César combines freshly made tapas (spanish small plates) with a large and thoughtful selection of fine wines, beers and spirits. They serve a wide range of cocktails made by their expert bartenders, as well as wines-by-the-glass and sample "flights" from their list of spirits, sherries and other aperitifs, and dessert wines. César has been included in the san francisco chronicle's "best 100 restaurants of the bay area" every year since they opened.

The Sangrias at César are by far the best we have ever had! The delicious fruit forward wine punch was the perfect blend of fruit, ice, and alcohol!!
